本館の二階の廊下を掃除してたら！！
明治の職人の技を発見しました。
窓に設けられた柵の足に、素敵で美しい工夫がしてあります。
角のある足だとどうしても拭き残しができますが、角を削った曲線のデザインの足だと、とてもキレイに拭き掃除ができます。
すっと、スタッフに任せっきりだった床掃除をしてみたからこそ気づいた地獄温泉の宝物です。
発見できたのも、云わば地震のおかげ。
新装する本館にも残していきたい技ですね。

After cleaning the hallway on the second floor of the main building,
I discovered the technique of craftsmen from Meiji Era.
There is a nice and beautiful ingenuity on the foot of the fence installed in the window.
If there are corners in the pillar, dust remain. it is hard to remove all the dust.
But if the corner is a curve, the dust can be removed clearly.

It is a treasure of Jigoku-onsen that I realized just because I tried cleaning the floor which was truly left to the staff.

I was able to find out, it’s funny to say but thanks to the earthquake.
It is a technique I would like to also leave in the main building to be newly built.
