県道298号線(阿蘇公園下野線)を阿蘇山頂方面へ

Take Prefectural Road 298 to Aso Peak.

左手にゴルフ場(熊本阿蘇カントリー)を見て道なりに左折、阿蘇山頂方面へ

Turn left while looking at the golf course (Kumamoto Aso Country) on the left side and head towards Aso Peak.

突き当りを右折、阿蘇山頂方面へ

At the end, turn right, towards Aso Peak.

草千里を過ぎ阿蘇山頂手前を右折

Pass Kusasenri and turn right in front of the summit.

「阿蘇火の山トンネル」出口から約1㎞、

Drive about 1 km from the exit of “火の山トンネル”

「南阿蘇村池の窪ふれあい交流館」手前を右折(鋭角)、

Turn right (acute angle) 10m before “池の窪ふれあい交流館”

道なりに地獄温泉

And follow the road to Jigoku-onsen.
